In the deep halls of the underground complex of Moria in Middle-earth, old home for the clan of dwarfs known as Longbeards, a young and apprehensive Hobbit seeks strength and courage to face a horde of Orcs that approach bringing a monstruous Cave Troll. Cornered in the tomb mausoleum of Balin, the Dwarf Lord, he wields his shortsword preparing himself for the eminent combat. Reproducing faithfully his characteristic costume with the knee-length shorts, shirt, vest, jacket and cloak, and the face features of actor Dominic Monaghan, Iron Studios bring the statue "Merry - BDS - The Lord of the Rings - Art Scale 1/10", part of a diorama set that replicates the emblematic battle featured in the movie "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring", adapted into a film by Peter Jackson in 2001.

One of the cousins and one of the closest friends of Frodo Baggins, Meriadoc "Merry" Brandybuck is considered the most keen and intelligent of Hobbits. Lover of boats and ponies and nurturing great interest for Middle-earth maps, he was one of the nine allies and companions of the group known as The Fellowship of the Ring. Partner and closest friend of Pippin, he joined the formation of the Fellowship of the Ring crossing the underground territory of the Mines of Moria facing great and dangerous challenges.
