Before becoming a costumed criminal, Fred was a talented baseball player whose exceptional throwing accuracy made him a promising professional athlete. After his sporting career ended following a match-fixing scandal, he turned his remarkable pitching abilities towards crime. Adopting the identity of Boomerang, Fred developed an arsenal of specialised throwing weapons and became a dangerous mercenary. The Marvel Legends Boomerang Figure celebrates his classic comic-book identity with a distinctive costume and two signature boomerang accessories. ⚔️ Master of the Boomerang Boomerang's greatest advantage is his extraordinary throwing precision. In Marvel Comics, he uses specialised boomerangs with different offensive capabilities, including explosive, cutting and smoke-producing variants. His skill allows him to calculate difficult trajectories, attack from unexpected angles and challenge opponents with unpredictable movements. This Hasbro Marvel Legends figure includes two boomerang accessories, allowing collectors to recreate his recognisable throwing poses. Combined with the articulated arms and interchangeable hands, these accessories make the figure particularly suitable for action-themed displays. The included boomerangs are figure accessories; the specialised weapon effects described above belong to the character's comic-book lore. 🕷️ Spider-Man: Brand New Day The Spider-Man: Brand New Day range celebrates characters connected to Spider-Man's extensive Marvel universe. Boomerang is a fitting addition thanks to his long history of encounters with Spider-Man and his distinctive personality. Unlike many conventional supervillains, Fred Myers frequently combines genuine criminal ability with arrogance, humour and questionable decision-making. His relationship with Peter Parker becomes especially unusual when the two temporarily share an apartment, creating memorable complications in the comics. This blend of danger and comedy makes Boomerang one of Spider-Man's more entertaining recurring adversaries. 🦹 The Sinister Syndicate Connection Boomerang has also been associated with several of Marvel's notorious villain teams. He is particularly recognised for his involvement with the Sinister Syndicate, alongside criminals such as Beetle, Speed Demon, Rhino and Hydro-Man. His criminal career has included numerous schemes, shifting alliances and attempts to establish himself as a major supervillain. For collectors, Boomerang is an excellent character to display alongside Spider-Man and other members of his famous rogues' gallery. 🦾 Articulated Design & Five Accessories The Hasbro Marvel Legends Boomerang 15cm Figure features movable joints in the head, arms and legs, allowing a variety of action poses. Its five included accessories provide additional display options: 1 alternate head to change the character's appearance 2 interchangeable hands for different gestures 2 boomerangs to recreate his signature attacks Collectors can pose Boomerang preparing to throw a weapon, confronting Spider-Man or standing alongside other Marvel villains.
