Unite ancient Chinese imperial mythology with futuristic mecha engineering with the spectacular MJZ Studio x Sunday Hobby Qin Shi Huang Ying Zheng Model Kit. Known as The First Emperor, this ambitious original creation reimagines Ying Zheng – Qin Shi Huang not as a traditional historical figure, but as an imposing imperial humanoid mecha. Ceremonial armour, dragon imagery, ancient Chinese architecture and symbols of imperial authority are transformed into an extraordinarily elaborate mechanical design. The main Ying Zheng mecha stands approximately 25cm tall and is presented at a stated 1/100 scale. Beneath its elaborate armour sits a pre-assembled metal alloy and POM internal frame, providing a strong articulated foundation for the completed model. But Ying Zheng is only part of this enormous project. The kit also includes a spectacular articulated Chinese dragon measuring approximately 110cm long when assembled. With interchangeable design options for its head and limbs, the dragon can be configured in different forms and positioned around the emperor using the included support stands. With approximately 1,700 parts across 81 sprues, excluding the pre-assembled internal frame, this is a seriously substantial model-building project aimed at experienced hobbyists looking for something far beyond a conventional mecha kit. Additional accessories include the Sword of the King of Qin, Yuxi Imperial Seal, bamboo slats, Xuanniao / Black Bird backpack, plus elaborate display elements inspired by the Great Wall and Palace of Qin. Finished with included water-slide decals, this extraordinary set creates an enormous display combining Chinese history, mythology and science-fiction mecha design. 🔧 Product Details Specification Details Product The First Emperor – Ying Zheng / Qin Shi Huang Manufacturer MJZ Studio Collaboration MJZ Studio x Sunday Hobby Product Type Plastic Mecha Model Kit Theme Chinese Imperial / Fantasy Mecha Scale 1/100 Mecha Height Approx. 25cm Dragon Length Approx. 110cm Number of Parts Approx. 1,700 Number of Sprues 81, excluding internal frame Internal Frame Pre-Assembled Frame Materials Metal Alloy & POM Additional Material ABS Articulation Yes Skill Level Intermediate to Advanced Giant Dragon Included Water-Slide Decals Included Display Bases / Stands Included ✨ Features Spectacular Qin Shi Huang / Ying Zheng mecha Original design inspired by China's First Emperor Collaboration between MJZ Studio and Sunday Hobby Stated 1/100 scale Main mecha stands approx. 25cm tall Pre-assembled internal skeleton Metal alloy and POM frame Highly articulated construction Elaborate Chinese imperial armour styling Approx. 1,700 components Massive 81-sprue build Extraordinary 110cm articulated dragon Two styles of dragon heads and limbs Xuanniao / Black Bird backpack Sword of the King of Qin Yuxi Imperial Seal Bamboo slat accessory Great Wall-inspired display stand Palace of Qin-inspired base Multiple dragon support stands Water-slide decals included Designed for intermediate and advanced model builders 👑 The First Emperor – Ying Zheng At the centre of the set is Ying Zheng, better known to history as Qin Shi Huang, presented here through an entirely original science-fiction interpretation. Rather than attempting to reproduce historical armour, MJZ Studio transforms the visual language of imperial China into a towering mechanical warrior. The result combines elaborate ceremonial shapes and ancient symbolism with exposed mechanical elements, articulated armour and the imposing proportions of a modern premium mecha kit. ⚙️ Pre-Assembled Metal & POM Internal Frame Supporting the elaborate exterior armour is a pre-assembled internal skeleton constructed from metal alloy and POM components. This provides the foundation for the approximately 25cm mecha and is designed to offer both articulation and structural support once the numerous exterior components and accessories are installed. The pre-built frame also means you can concentrate much of the assembly process on constructing the elaborate external armour and equipment rather than building the entire skeleton from individual plastic components. 🐉 Enormous 110cm Articulated Dragon The scale of this kit becomes apparent when you reach its extraordinary companion piece. The included Chinese dragon measures approximately 110cm long when assembled. At more than a metre in length, the dragon dramatically expands the completed model's display footprint and transforms the project from a standalone mecha into a full fantasy-mechanical diorama. Multiple stands are included to support the dragon and create dynamic compositions around Ying Zheng. 🐲 Multiple Dragon Configurations The dragon isn't limited to a single appearance. The kit includes two different styles of heads and limbs, allowing builders to alter its visual configuration. Combined with the articulated body and dedicated supports, these interchangeable elements provide numerous possibilities for creating a personalised display. Position the dragon surrounding the emperor, soaring alongside the mecha or dominating the background of the complete diorama. 🦅 Xuanniao / Black Bird Backpack Ying Zheng is equipped with an elaborate Xuanniao – or Black Bird – backpack. The Xuanniao theme adds another element of Chinese mythological symbolism to the futuristic mechanical design and significantly expands the silhouette of the completed mecha. Combined with the imperial armour and dragon, it reinforces the kit's distinctive fusion of mythology and science fiction. ⚔️ Sword of the King of Qin Among the included equipment is the imposing Sword of the King of Qin. The weapon complements Ying Zheng's imperial-warrior appearance and provides a natural centrepiece for combat-oriented poses. The articulated frame allows the sword to be incorporated into different stances, from ceremonial presentations to more aggressive battle displays. 🏯 Yuxi Imperial Seal & Bamboo Slats The set goes beyond conventional mecha weapons by including accessories based on symbols associated with imperial China. Among them are: Yuxi Imperial Seal Bamboo slats Imperial-themed decorative elements These pieces help establish the identity of the model as Qin Shi Huang rather than simply another heavily armoured robot. 🧱 Great Wall-Inspired Display Stand Even the display equipment continues the historical-fantasy theme. A stand inspired by the Great Wall provides an architectural backdrop for the completed model and helps create a much richer presentation than a conventional transparent action base. It's accompanied by additional structural elements designed around the imperial Chinese setting. 🏛️ Palace of Qin Display Base The kit also includes a display element inspired by the Palace of Qin. Together with the Great Wall styling and dragon supports, the base allows the completed project to become a substantial themed diorama rather than simply a mecha standing on a shelf. With the 110cm dragon installed, the overall composition can become enormous. 🔩 Approx. 1,700 Parts This isn't a quick weekend snap-build. The complete set contains approximately 1,700 components spread across 81 sprues, with that figure excluding the pre-assembled internal skeleton. The sheer number of components reflects the complexity of: Ying Zheng's armour Mechanical detailing Xuanniao backpack Giant dragon Weapons Imperial accessories Architectural display elements Support structures It's designed to provide a substantial building experience for hobbyists who enjoy complex, long-form model projects. 💧 Water-Slide Decals Included A set of water-slide decals is supplied for adding additional markings and decorative details to the finished model. These provide builders with the opportunity to enhance the numerous armour panels and mechanical surfaces without relying exclusively on painting. Experienced hobbyists can take the project considerably further with panel lining, metallic detailing, shading and custom painting. 🛠️ Building Experience With approximately 1,700 pieces and 81 sprues, this kit is best suited to intermediate and advanced model builders. Recommended modelling equipment includes: Quality model nippers Hobby knife Sanding sticks / files Precision tweezers Water-slide decal tools Panel-lining equipment Given the enormous number of components and the metre-long dragon, builders should also plan for plenty of workspace during both construction and final display. 📦 Box Contents Ying Zheng / Qin Shi Huang 1/100 Mecha Pre-Assembled Metal Alloy & POM Internal Frame Exterior Imperial Armour Components Xuanniao / Black Bird Backpack Articulated Giant Dragon 2 Dragon Head Styles 2 Dragon Limb Styles Sword of the King of Qin Yuxi Imperial Seal Bamboo Slat Accessory Great Wall-Inspired Display Stand Palace of Qin-Inspired Base Dragon Support Stands Water-Slide Decals Model Assembly Components 📜 Inspired by Qin Shi Huang Ying Zheng, remembered as Qin Shi Huang, became the first emperor of a unified China in 221 BC. His reign is associated with the unification of the Warring States and major efforts to standardise systems throughout the newly unified empire. His legacy is also famously connected with the enormous funerary complex near Xi'an and its Terracotta Army. MJZ Studio's model isn't intended as a historical reproduction. Instead, it takes imagery associated with imperial authority and combines it with Chinese mythology and contemporary mecha design to create an entirely original interpretation of the First Emperor. 🎁 Perfect For Advanced mecha model builders MJZ Studio collectors Original mecha enthusiasts Chinese mythology fans Qin Shi Huang-inspired collections Large-scale model collectors Mechanical dragon collectors Sci-fi and fantasy enthusiasts Diorama builders Hobbyists looking for an ambitious premium project ⭐ Why You'll Love It Extraordinary Qin Shi Huang mecha interpretation Collaboration between MJZ Studio and Sunday Hobby Impressive 25cm Ying Zheng mecha Stated 1/100 scale Pre-assembled metal alloy & POM frame Approximately 1,700 parts Massive 81-sprue model project Spectacular 110cm articulated dragon Two dragon head and limb configurations Xuanniao / Black Bird backpack Sword of the King of Qin included Yuxi Imperial Seal included Great Wall-inspired display Palace of Qin-themed base Multiple dragon support stands Water-slide decals included Rich fusion of Chinese history, mythology and futuristic mecha Huge display potential for experienced collectors 🐉 MJZ Studio Qin Shi Huang Model Kit • Ying Zheng 1/100 Mecha • The First Emperor Model Kit • MJZ Studio x Sunday Hobby • Qin Shi Huang Mecha • 110cm Mechanical Dragon Model • Chinese Mecha Model Kit • Ying Zheng Model 25cm • Imperial Dragon Model Kit • Advanced Mecha Model 👑⚔️
